Moscow. January 26. INTERFAX - The Center for Quantum Electronics has teamed up with educational institutions to work on the implementation of the state task in terms of training specialists for enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC).
"Relevant agreements have been concluded between M.F.Stelmakh Polyus Research Institute, MIREA - Russian Technological University, MIPT Physics and Technology School and Moscow State Technological University "STANKIN". So, until 2030, the parties will provide defense industry organizations with specialized specialists on the basis of secondary vocational and higher education," the press service of Shvabe said in a statement issued on Wednesday.
According to Evgeny Kuznetsov, Director General of the Polyus Research Institute, "the state plan is designed for nine years."
"During this time, it is planned to train and put into real production a large number of specialists with professional qualities and qualifications that meet the modern goals and objectives of the defense industry. And in this regard, joint work with universities will focus on photonics and electronics, since the development of these areas is the future," Kuznetsov said, as quoted by the press service.
To achieve the goals of the project, it is planned to attract talented young people, hold conferences, Olympiads and scientific competitions, as well as open days at factories, research institutes, laboratories and design bureaus of the country. "At the same time, career guidance work will affect technoparks and other educational organizations where children and young people who demonstrate high results study," the press release says.
"Personnel training will also be provided by targeted recruitment to the country's leading technical universities. As a result of this educational process, such specialists will have the opportunity to take part in real industrial projects at defense industry enterprises," the message reads.
The Polyus Research Institute, as part of the Shvabe holding of Rostec State Corporation, is included in the National Rating of Technoparks of the Russian Federation and is the country's leading research and production center in the field of quantum electronics. "Today it interacts with foreign universities and has on its site the basic departments of MIPT and MIREA. There is also its own dissertation council, and current specialists can enroll in postgraduate studies in the specialties "Quantum Electronics" and "Optical and optoelectronic devices and complexes," the press service reports.
