Washington. January 26. INTERFAX - The US authorities have warned Minsk of serious consequences if the territory of Belarus is used for a Russian invasion of Ukraine, State Department spokesman Ned Price said.
"The other day we made it clear to the Belarusian authorities that if they allow their territory to be used to attack Ukraine, Minsk will face a decisive and rapid reaction from the United States, its allies and partners," he said at a briefing.
Price stressed that the presence of Russian troops in Belarus "causes serious concern and threatens the sovereignty of Belarus."
