London. January 23. INTERFAX - In London, they declare Britain's readiness to support Ukraine, but consider it extremely unlikely that they will send their military to the border in the event of a suspected Russian invasion, Sky News channel reported on Sunday.
"It is extremely unlikely that we will do this, but I can say that we are ready and participating in training programs to support Ukrainians," Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab said, answering the question whether Britain would send its military to Ukraine if Russia invaded its territory.
Raab added that Britain will support Ukraine together with the international community and NATO allies in the West.
"There will be very serious consequences if Russia tries to move on and invade or establish a puppet regime," the British politician said.
