MOSCOW, January 22 - RIA Novosti. The head of the German Navy, Vice Admiral Kai-Achim Schoenbach, said that the next continental war may be in the next few decades.
"I believe that there will be a (continental) war, perhaps not in the next two or three years, but in the next 10-20 years," Schoenbach said during a conference of the Indian Institute of Defense Studies Manohar Parrikar.
In this regard, the Vice Admiral noted that, in his opinion, bilateral partnerships "mean nothing." Countries should create "closer alliances," Schoenbach said.
