Among the highest state awards are the Order of Honor and 12 medals of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, I and II degrees.
According to the press service of the Russian special exporter, on January 20, the Director General of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, presented the well-deserved awards to his subordinates in a solemn atmosphere.
"Rosoboronexport employees have shown responsibility and high professionalism, performing complex tasks and working to achieve goals in the interests of the country. The President of the Russian Federation awarded awards to employees of the company's financial, marketing and supply units – all the main areas of our activities in the field of military-technical cooperation. This speaks to the integrity and cohesion of our team, the recognition at the highest level of Rosoboronexport's great contribution to the development of Russia as a strong and reliable world power," A. Mikheev stressed.
The gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation was also announced to a number of Rosoboronexport employees.
"Over the past five years, Rosoboronexport has been operating in conditions of unprecedented complexity. The policy of unfair competition on the part of Western countries and the most severe coronavirus pandemic have greatly changed the structure and appearance of the conservative global arms market. Nevertheless, thanks to the comprehensive support of the state and prompt response to new challenges, we were able to maintain strong ties with our traditional partners and strengthen ourselves in new countries and regions. Since 2017, Rosoboronexport has signed contract documents totaling about $ 75 billion, which ensured a stable growth of the company's order portfolio by 15%," the head of Rosoboronexport noted.
