TSAMTO, January 20. Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi on January 19 at talks in the Kremlin with Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to agree on a plan for strategic cooperation.
According to him, "this concerns the economy, politics, culture, science, technology, defense and military issues, security issues, aviation, space and many other areas."
T.Raisi stressed that "we have a document on strategic cooperation between our two countries, which can determine the future for at least 20 years ahead. We have passed this document to our Russian colleagues. We believe that this document will determine the long-term strategic cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation."
T. Raisi noted that "there are no restrictions in the Islamic Republic of Iran for the development and expansion of relations with a friendly country - Russia, and these relations will be strategic: they will not be short-term or positional – they will be permanent."
"I would like to say that in the current, very exceptional conditions, when there is a confrontation with unilateral actions of the West, including the United States, we can create synergy in our interaction," T. Raisi said.
