The Drive: NLAW missiles will act as a balancer for the Ukrainian military
The United Kingdom on military transport aircraft C-17 Globemaster III delivered to Ukraine, probably hundreds of portable anti-tank guided missiles Next Generation Light Anti-tank Weapon (NLAW). Defensive weapons will act as a "deterrent to future Russian aggression," he claims The Drive.
"Guided anti-tank weapons have long been considered as an important balancing point for the Ukrainian military in any future large-scale conflict with the Russians, who have a general superiority in quantity, and in some ways in quality, including in terms of tanks and other heavy armored vehicles," the American edition says.
The Drive recalls that at present, in addition to NLAW, Ukraine has FGM-148 Javelin portable anti-tank missile systems received mainly from the United States. The publication notes that the launchers of the second, unlike the first, allow recharging.
In January, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the UK had delivered to Kiev a cargo consisting of light anti-tank weapons.
