Kiev. January 18. INTERFAX-UKRAINE - Canada has heard Ukraine's request for the supply of military equipment and will make a decision on time, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly said.
"The issue of military equipment. We have heard loud and clear demands from the Ukrainian government. Many officials here have reiterated this requirement. We know that it is important to play our role in this context. Therefore, we are considering options and we will make a decision on time," Joly said at a press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba in Kiev on Tuesday.
Joly added that Russia's military buildup around Ukraine is unacceptable.
