Russia has the right to use military-technical measures in response to security threats from NATO.
This statement was made by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko at a press conference dedicated to the results of the negotiations between Russia and NATO.
"Russia has designated: we have a set of legitimate military-technical measures that we will apply if we feel real security threats. And we already feel that if our territory is considered as an object for targeting shock weapons, of course, we cannot agree. We will take all necessary measures to fend off these threats by military means, if political means fail," Grushko said.
At the same time, the Deputy minister stressed that it is impossible to bring the situation to a military conflict. However, according to Grushko, NATO is pursuing a policy of deterring Russia and allocates large funds for this, writes Ura.ru .
