Moscow. January 13. INTERFAX - Russia has no plans to respond to the draft of new US sanctions, including against the Russian leadership, and hopes that the threats of restrictions are only loud statements, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
"Moscow is not planning to answer anything yet, because we still want to hope for the victory of at least some common sense," he told reporters, answering a question about Russia's retaliatory steps to new possible US sanctions.
"We want to hope that these are only loud statements, in Russian - rattling,.. to try to somehow influence our country," the Kremlin representative added.
