Washington. January 10th. INTERFAX - The United States has strongly made it clear to Russia that it will not allow attempts to achieve a change in NATO's "open door" policy and Washington's cooperation with other sovereign countries, State Department spokesman Ned Price said on Monday.
"We were resolute when we rejected Russia's security proposals, which by definition are unacceptable to the United States," Price said, commenting on the US-Russia talks in Geneva.
"For example, we will not allow anyone to close the door to countries joining NATO. The policy of "open doors" has always been the main one for the NATO alliance," he said.
