"The President noted that the performance of security functions by the units of the joint peacekeeping contingent of the CSTO in Nur-Sultan allowed to release part of the forces of the Kazakh law enforcement agencies and relocate them to Almaty to participate in the counter-terrorism operation," the presidential press service said in a statement on Saturday following a meeting of the operational headquarters, chaired by the president.
