Kabul. January 6th. INTERFAX - The Taliban movement that has seized Afghanistan (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) has stated that it is concerned about the unrest in Kazakhstan.
"Afghanistan is closely monitoring the current situation in Kazakhstan and as a close neighbor and trading partner is concerned about the recent unrest there. He calls on the government and the protesters to resolve their differences through dialogue and peaceful means and bring peace and stability to the country," the Taliban Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on Twitter on Thursday evening by the head of the press center of the movement's foreign ministry, Abdul Qahar Balkhi.
