US and UK Defense Ministers expressed support for Ukraine's sovereignty - Pentagon

Washington. January 6th. INTERFAX - U.S. Defense Ministers Lloyd Austin and Great Britain's Ben Wallace confirmed during a telephone conversation that they support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the Pentagon said.

The report notes that the ministers "discussed the issues of Russia's military buildup on the borders of Ukraine," while they "mutually confirmed unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine."

The US military noted that Austin "thanked Wallace for Britain's contribution to transatlantic security."
