Washington. January 3. INTERFAX - US President Joe Biden, during a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, said that he was ready, together with his allies, to respond decisively in the event of a Russian attack on Ukraine, the White House reports.
"President Biden has made it clear that the United States, together with allies and partners, will give a decisive response if Russia invades Ukraine again," the US presidential administration said in a statement.
In addition, as noted in the document, "the leaders expressed support for the diplomatic efforts that begin next week: this is a dialogue on strategic stability (between the United States and the Russian Federation - IF), the Russia-NATO Council, as well as contacts in the OSCE."
