Konstantin Zatulin, the first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and relations with compatriots, commenting on the talks between the leaders of Russia and the United States, told RIA Novosti that it is difficult to expect that everything desired will come true, but the threat of a military clash is gradually disappearing with this year.
The day before, the second talks between the Presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, took place in the last month. The security guarantees proposed by Moscow were discussed.
"I hope that there will be further news in January, I repeat, it is difficult to expect that everything you want will come true, but, in any case, the threat of a military clash is definitely going away gradually with this year," Zatulin said.
