A number of foreign customers are interested in the Russian echeloned air defense system, which involves the supply of a group of anti-aircraft missile systems of different ranges, a spokeswoman for the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS) told RIA Novosti in an interview Valeria Reshetnikova.
The echeloned air defense system assumes a mixed grouping of long-, medium- and short-range anti-aircraft missile systems operating in a single control loop.
She added that the implementation of such projects is not limited to the use of highly effective air defense models, but also provides for other weapons, including the use of aviation.
"In this regard, we offer an individual approach to layered air defense systems, taking into account the needs of partners," the spokeswoman said.
The official representative of the FSVTS noted that in the coming years, taking into account the development of UAV systems and the use of various tactics for the use of drones for strikes, as well as their sales around the world, countries will increasingly face the issue of protecting their airspace.
At the same time, Reshetnikova added, we are not talking about supplying exclusively a pair of S-400 - Pantsir complexes, the Russian Federation is ready to provide a wide range of air defense systems.
