Moscow. December 27. INTERFAX - Russia has recently supplied military equipment and weapons to Tajikistan to ensure the country's defense capability, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"You know that we are actively working to strengthen the defense capability of Tajikistan. Recently, in accordance with our agreements, the necessary supplies of weapons and equipment have been carried out to strengthen the armed forces of Tajikistan, and Tajikistan could effectively counteract any threats that come from outside against your country," he said at a meeting with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon.
