Ashgabat. December 25. INTERFAX - The Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan has received permission for a contract with the Turkish company Ronesans Endustri Tesisleri Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. for the design and construction of the first specialized military school for 700 places in Ashgabat.
The corresponding decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was published on Saturday in the government newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
As noted in the resolution, the construction of the school was undertaken "in order to improve the quality of education and increase the level of educational training of cadets of specialized military schools, create study conditions for them corresponding to modern innovative technologies, as well as further enhance the beauty of the architectural and urban appearance of Ashgabat."
The document prescribes to begin construction work in January 2022 and to hand over the complex in August 2024 with full readiness for operation.
During a government meeting last Friday, Deputy Prime Minister, Secretary of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan Charymyrat Amanov reported to the President on practical steps to train scientists of military and law enforcement agencies, including training young specialists in subordinate universities, and studying world best practices.
After hearing the report, the President noted that the main task in this matter is the development and implementation of a unified system of training and military-patriotic education.
