An Agency of the U.S. Department of defense for military cooperation (Defense Security Cooperation Agency DSCA) of 21 December 2021 was sent to Congress a notification about the planned upcoming sale Lithuania, along the line of the American program of the intergovernmental foreign military sales Foreign Military Sales (FMS) in total 30 launchers (СLU) and 341 anti-tank guided missile FGM-148F portable anti-tank missile system Javelin. This delivery is approved by the U.S. Department of State. The total cost of the proposed delivery will be $ 125 million, including educational equipment and technical support.

As can be understood, Lithuania will be supplied with new production complexes from the production line of the Raytheon and Lockheed Martin joint venture.
On the part of bmpd, we recall that Lithuania is a long-time operator of the Javelin ATGM, in 2001 acting as one of the first foreign customers of this complex. By now Lithuania already has at least 114 launchers (SLUS) and several hundred Javelin missiles.
