TSAMTO, December 24. On December 23, the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding prize winners of All-Russian competitions of scientific research works in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The award ceremony was held under the leadership of the Deputy Head of the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Dmitry Gorbatenko.
"Participation in competitions of a wide range of researchers from students to established scientists from various regions of the country allows us to consolidate efforts and find creative, non-standard solutions for the formation of a scientific and technical reserve that ensures the conduct of promising research in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry, including at the site of the Military Innovation Technopolis ERA," D. Gorbatenko noted.
This year, the theme of the competitions is devoted to the search for new ideas and technical solutions aimed at using innovative technologies in medicine in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Traditionally, the competition has aroused wide interest among research teams of higher educational institutions and research organizations of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. A total of 58 works were submitted to the competition this year. Innovative projects were prepared by the author's teams and individual authors from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Orel, Tambov, Arkhangelsk, Novosibirsk and other cities.
The works of the participants were distinguished by scientific novelty, practical orientation, relevance, affecting the creation and implementation of advanced technologies in medicine in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The competitions were held within the framework of the "Year of Science and Technology" announced by the President of the Russian Federation.
The main purpose of the competitions was the search and selection of promising research works, author teams capable of effective implementation of promising projects, as well as ideas for creating new technologies in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the subject of "Innovative technologies in medicine".
