Moscow. December 23. INTERFAX-AVN - Russian President Vladimir Putin has not ruled out that Kiev is preparing a new military operation against Donbass, believes that it is necessary to prepare for this.
"Now they tell us: war, war, war. It seems that, perhaps, a third military operation is being prepared and we are warned in advance: do not interfere, do not protect these people, but if you intervene and protect them, such and such new sanctions will follow. And maybe prepare for this," Putin said at the annual press conference on Thursday.
According to him, Russia should react to such actions and, thinking about it, do something.
"The second option is the creation in general, and I have already talked about it in my article, on this territory (in Ukraine, - "IF") such an anti-Russia with a constant pumping of modern weapons, with brainwashing of the population. And can you imagine how, in the historical perspective, Russia should continue to live all the time with an eye: what is happening there, what new weapons systems have been delivered? And then, under the cover of these new weapons systems, push the radicals to resolve issues in Donbass by armed means," the president believes.
According to Putin, as for Crimea, "they are pushing there too."
"But we have to think about the prospects of ensuring our security, not even for today and not next week, but for the near future. How should Russia live with this? All the time with an eye? What will happen there and when will they be fucked?" he said.
