Moscow. December 22. INTERFAX - It is impossible to name specific deadlines for agreeing proposals on security guarantees, but the negotiations should not turn into a marathon, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.
"Of course, it is impossible to name clear deadlines here. The main thing is that this does not turn into a negotiation marathon," Peskov told reporters.
"There is no point in naming any clear deadlines. It becomes quite obvious that the negotiations are being delayed or that the negotiations are aimed at a specific result," he added.
According to Peskov, "experts have their own understanding of this."
The press secretary was also asked what is meant by a military-technical response to actions that could threaten Russia, which the president spoke about.
"This is a whole set of measures to ensure the security of the Russian Federation and mutually supportive parity," Peskov said.
He declined to specify whether the deployment of more serious missiles on the borders with Western countries is included in this set.
