Bill Nelson said that he is positive about plans for a meeting with the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin

CAPE CANAVERAL /Florida/, December 20. /tass/. The head of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Bill Nelson is positive about plans to meet with the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin, a trip to Moscow can take place as soon as it becomes safe to travel. This was stated on Saturday during a press conference by the head of the American ISS program Joel Montalbano, answering a question from TASS about whether there are exact dates for Nelson's visit to Moscow.

"Senator Nelson and Mr. Rogozin maintain regular contacts. As for future plans, I can't name any exact dates, but they want to hold a face-to-face meeting. They both spoke very positively about her. I hope that as soon as the trips become safe, this will happen," he said.

"In the meantime, the trips of high-ranking representatives of agencies from both the United States and Russia will continue," Montalbano continued. - Some of us were in Russia recently, before Thanksgiving (celebrated this year in the USA on November 25 - approx. TASS). We will continue to do this, it is very important for us to maintain relations with Russia."
