On Monday, the Scientific Council of the Russian Security Council discussed possible challenges and threats to Russia's security in connection with geopolitical changes in the world.
In addition, experts, including prominent Russian scientists and economists, chaired by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, discussed the impact of changes in the global energy balance on energy security in the country and the world. Separately, recommendations were developed to counteract the implementation of "color revolutions" technologies in Russia.
By the way, there are currently 158 prominent scientists and specialists appointed by the President personally in the scientific council. Including 110 doctors of sciences, 20 academicians of state academies of sciences. In particular, the situation in Afghanistan and the regions of Central and South Asia was discussed at the meetings of the section on international issues. A comprehensive assessment of the situation in the Asia-Pacific region, the policy of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in connection with the US promotion of its Indo-Pacific Strategy and bloc policy is given. The CIS Problems section focused on strengthening Russia's position in the CIS space.
