MOSCOW, Dec 20 - RIA Novosti. The role of foreign intelligence in ensuring the security of the Russian Federation is growing, this concerns the operational and qualitative analysis of international information, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

The Head of State also noted the clear work of the staff of the FSO and the main directorate of special programs.
"The state, our people are doing everything necessary for your productive work, for technical operational personnel strengthening of special services, and we need to use this potential to the maximum, confidently solving all the tasks set. I have no doubt that in the future you will work conscientiously, achieve significant results in all areas for which your departments are responsible," the President added.
