Russia has no right to set the geographical borders of NATO - head of the German Defense Ministry

Berlin. December 19. INTERFAX - Russia has no right to determine which countries NATO may or may not consist of, German Defense Minister Kristine Lambrecht said on Sunday during a visit to Lithuania.

"It cannot be that Russia prescribes to NATO how it (the North Atlantic Alliance - IF) should be formed," German media quoted her as saying from a press conference with Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anushauskas.

She assured the Lithuanian side of support and, noting the seriousness of the situation around Ukraine, expressed understanding of the threat Lithuania now feels.

In addition, she said that the situation between Ukraine and the Russian Federation should be resolved diplomatically, but at the same time there should be "reliable deterrent measures" against Russia.

Может, может. У Литвы забыли спросить. США вон качают сирийскую нефть - а почему? Кто разрешил? Да сами себе разрешили, потому, что могут, потому, что никто запретить им не может и даже санкции не включает никакие за это, да вообще никак не осуждает даже - типа нормально всё, так должно быть.

Иран подал отличный пример. Если на Украине появится база НАТО, то делается звонок: "Через час по базе будет нанесён ракетный удар, база будет поностью уничтожена - срочно эвакуируйте весь персонал базы. Если кто на этой территории пострадает - ответственность на вас.". И всё - дальше база сносится) Если уж с Ираном воевать не захотели американцы, то воевать с ядерной державой Россией и подавно никто не станет. Удар ведь не по территории США.
