Ukraine today is completely lost to Russia as a partner and ally.
This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov in an interview with RTVI, writes Rubaltic.ru .
Peskov noted that Russians and Ukrainians will remain fraternal peoples, despite the "fooling of their citizens by the Ukrainian authorities."
"Is Ukraine now lost as a partner, ally, and so on, at this stage, yes, completely," the press secretary of the President of Russia explained.
In addition, according to him, Ukraine "directly, officially, actually at the legislative level declares its intention to join NATO."
"This is very bad for us, because in this way the NATO military infrastructure will inevitably begin to drift towards our borders. We are without membership (of Ukraine) NATO is now seeing how the alliance is gradually beginning to absorb and invade Ukraine. A creeping NATO invasion of Ukraine is already taking place, and Russia cannot remain indifferent to this," Peskov summed up.
