TSAMTO, December 17. On December 16, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the XXI competition for the annual National award "Golden Idea" in the field of military-technical cooperation took place at the Patriot Exhibition Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The winners of 19 prizes and one honorary diploma in six nominations in 2020 were determined by the results of voting by members of the Organizing Committee of the award, which includes representatives of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the State Corporation Roscosmos, the State Corporation Rostec, JSC Rosoboronexport, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Association League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises, LLC Insurance Company Independent Insurance Group.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yuri Borisov sent greetings to the participants of the XXI award ceremony of the winners of the National Prize "Golden Idea".
"Every year the competition in the world markets of weapons and military equipment is only getting stronger. This is felt both by the traditional leaders of this market and by new, very ambitious exporters. That is why it is important for us to keep up with the times, to search for new "golden ideas", to contribute to their successful implementation," the Deputy Prime Minister said in his address.
Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, addressed a welcoming speech to the participants, stressing that "by joint efforts we will certainly fulfill the tasks of developing military-technical cooperation with foreign countries and strengthening Russia's export potential set for us by the country's leadership."
Memorable prizes and diplomas were presented to the laureates by Mikhail Petukhov, a member of the Organizing Committee of the National Award "Golden Idea", Deputy Director of the FSVTS.
The annual National Award "Golden Idea" was established by the FSMTC in order to stimulate the export of Russian military products, the development and production of the latest competitive domestic models of weapons and military equipment, including with a world-class Russian component base, modernization of previously supplied military products, as well as improving the effectiveness of military-technical cooperation of the Russian Federation with foreign states.
