"Every year the competition in the world markets of weapons and military equipment is only getting stronger. This is felt both by the traditional leaders of this market and by new, very ambitious exporters. That is why it is important for us to keep up with the times, to search for new "golden ideas", to contribute to their successful implementation," Borisov said in his address to the laureates of the annual national award "Golden Idea" in the field of military-technical cooperation.
The award ceremony took place on Thursday at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition center of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation near Moscow.
"By joint efforts, we will certainly fulfill the tasks of developing military-technical cooperation with foreign countries and strengthening Russia's export potential set for us by the country's leadership," Dmitry Shugaev, head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, said in a greeting.
Mikhail Petukhov, Deputy Director of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, presented commemorative prizes and diplomas to the laureates - collectives of enterprises of the military-industrial complex (in particular, USC, Almaz-Antey, Kalashnikov, Tactical Missile Armament Corporation and Rosoboronexport JSC).
