KUBINKA /Moscow region/, December 16. /tass/. The State Research and Production Enterprise "Region" (part of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation) has received the first Golden Idea award of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia for its contribution to the development of military products, a TASS correspondent reports from the award ceremony.
As it was reported during the ceremony, the award was given for the creation of an adjustable 500 kg aircraft bomb. Tactical Missile Armament Corporation is one of the largest Russian defense industrial holdings. The association specializes in the development and supply of missiles for aviation, ship and ground-based tactical complexes.
The second prize in this category was awarded to the team of authors of JSC "103 BTRZ" and the 29th KTC of the Ministry of Defense of Russia for the creation of an upgraded armored vehicle BRDM-2MS. The third prize was awarded to the author's team of NPO Pribor (part of the Technodinamika holding of Rostec State Corporation) for the development of 30-millimeter cartridges with high-explosive incendiary, armor-piercing tracer and fragmentation tracer projectiles with plastic leading devices for artillery systems of the ground forces.
The annual national award "Golden Idea" was established by the Federal Customs Service of Russia in order to stimulate the export of Russian military products, the development and production of the latest competitive domestic models of weapons and military equipment, including with a world-class Russian component base, modernization of previously supplied military products, as well as improving the effectiveness of military-technical cooperation of the Russian Federation with foreign states.
