Moscow. December 16. INTERFAX - Shvabe Holding has created the first Russian thermal imaging sight based on a high-resolution matrix, Rostec State Corporation (GC) reported on Thursday.
"Three new modifications of civilian sights for high-precision shooting will be brought to the market by the Novosibirsk holding company. Professional athletes and hunters will be able to use them," the message says.
The range includes thermal imaging sights PT7VR, PT8VR and PT9VR. They were constructed on the basis of a high-resolution microbolometric matrix by the Novosibirsk Instrument-Making Plant (REFINERY) "Shvabe".
"The devices differ among themselves in the size of the field of view, weight and recognition range. Among the advantages of optics, according to the developers, are high image quality, an understandable control process and compact dimensions," the press release says.
According to the General Director of the refinery Anton Klokov, "qualification tests and preparation for serial production have been completed at the enterprise."
"We plan to present the first products to consumers in the near future," said Klokov, whose words are given in the message.
According to the Rostec Group, which includes the Shvabe Holding, "today, the refinery's sighting optics are in demand in Russia and abroad."
