Moscow. December 15th. INTERFAX - Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev and Director General of the General Department of Intelligence and Counterintelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Cambodia Hun Manit held consultations on security issues in Phnom Penh, the press service of the Security Council of the Russian Federation reported.
"Special attention is paid to the problems of "color revolutions", as well as the expansion of military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries and cooperation in the field of international information security," the press service said.
"We exchanged information on the military-political situation in the Asia-Pacific region, emphasizing the importance of Russian-Cambodian cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats in order to ensure national, regional and international security," the message reads.
The meeting was held with the participation of ministries and departments of the two countries. On the Russian side, the delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the FSB, the FSVTS, the Ministry of Justice, Rosfinmonitoring and the Security Council apparatus.
