"We plan to create a satellite in orbit in one of our projects, and potentially a grouping that will solve problems in the field of blockchain networks," the agency interlocutor said. - When servicing validators of such networks, one of the most important issues is the security of cryptographic keys, including physical ones, with the use of which the digital signature of transactions takes place. The project itself will allow the Russian space company to join the narrow-profile technological international agenda, which is still at the stage of formation."
As Alekseyev noted, the relevance of the development is increasing in the field of financial technologies every day, especially taking into account new trends in the development of the so-called digital worlds or metaverses. The project of the New Cosmos Corporation is being created just to solve the problem of ensuring maximum security of cryptographic keys by placing them on small spacecraft in low Earth orbit.
In 2022, the authors of the project plan to move on to determining the appearance of the spacecraft, solving the issues of organizing a satellite communication channel and assembling the device, Alekseev noted.
The aerospace corporation Novy Kosmos develops projects in the space and digital spheres, including the creation of small satellites.
