Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Colonel-General Alexander Fomin held a working meeting in Moscow with the Central African delegation headed by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Central African Republic Simplis Mathieu Sarangi.
"During the talks, the positive dynamics of the development of bilateral cooperation between the defense departments was noted, and an exchange of views on topical issues of regional security on the African continent took place," the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
Saranji thanked for the assistance provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in reforming the security sector of the Central African Republic, the report says.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and confirmed the importance of the Russian-Central African partnership in ensuring stability and security in the Central African region.
