On Tuesday, December 14, consultations were held on the basis of the CSTO Joint Headquarters to review the draft Plan for joint training of management bodies and formations of forces and means for 2023.
The military of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, the CSTO Secretariat and Joint Staff, as well as special-purpose units of the internal affairs bodies, the National Guard, security agencies and rescue services took part in it via videoconference. According to the press service of the CSTO headquarters, according to the results of the consultations, preliminary dates, venues, the composition of the involved management bodies and formations, as well as those responsible for carrying out the planned joint training events for 2023 were agreed. The agreed draft plan will be sent to the CSTO member states for internal approval.
"The discussion of proposals and comments received on the draft plan from interested ministries and departments of the CSTO member states was fruitful and constructive. The parties showed mutual understanding when discussing and finalizing the content of draft documents," Lieutenant General Anatoly Yakovlev said in his final speech.
