According to the rector of Novosibirsk State Technical University Anatoly Bataev, the consortium will also deal with energy issues
NOVOSIBIRSK, December 14. /tass/. A consortium of more than 20 organizations based on the Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) was created in Novosibirsk. One of its main goals will be the creation of hybrid integrated circuits for spacecraft that increase their power and service life, Rector of NSTU Anatoly Bataev told reporters on Tuesday.
"We need the created consortium in order to combine efforts and use the competencies of our colleagues from other organizations, industrial enterprises, scientific institutes and universities. The consortium is needed not only for cosmonautics and space, but also for the aviation industry, it is a consortium that will solve energy issues," the rector said.
The head of the strategic project Sergey Kharitonov explained that one of the main goals of the consortium will be the production of hybrid integrated circuits for aircraft, which will have high power characteristics and will increase their service life. It is possible to create such a technology only with the partnership of science and production, Kharitonov noted. To do this, it is planned to create a new production line on the territory of the NSTU technology center, where it will be possible to create, design and test prototypes. Full-fledged tests will be conducted in Zheleznogorsk by the Academician M. F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems Company.
According to the results of the strategic project, the consortium members plan to release small-sized power-efficient hybrid modules (SGM) and energy-converting equipment, as well as microprocessor control systems (MCUs) of energy-converting equipment. This project will be one of the steps in the implementation of the Priority 2030 program, the second group of which includes NSTU. Among the participants of the consortium are two research institutes, seven universities and 14 industrial partners, including Academician M. F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems JSC, Rubin Aviation Corporation PJSC, Sarapulsky Electric Generator Plant JSC, Tornado Modular Systems LLC, A.V. Rzhanov Institute of Semiconductor Physics SB RAS, etc.
