Washington. December 12. INTERFAX - US President Joe Biden said that the issue of the introduction of American troops into Ukraine has never been on the agenda.
"This has never been considered," he told reporters in Wilmington (Delaware) in response to a question whether Washington is ready for this in the event of a "Russian invasion" of Ukraine.
At the same time, he noted that under such circumstances, "we will consider it necessary to send more American and NATO troops to the Eastern Flank, (the countries of the Bucharest Nine - IF), to all those NATO countries to which we have a sacred obligation to protect them from any Russian attack."
