Kiev. December 9th. INTERFAX-UKRAINE - The United States has decided to be an active participant in the peace process to resolve the situation in Donbass, said the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Ermak, commenting on telephone conversations between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine.
"Today we can clearly say that the United States has decided to be an active participant in the peace process. How this will happen will depend on many circumstances. This may be a parallel track together with the "Normandy format", because we must certainly respect that our partners - Germany and France - have done a lot over the years," Ermak conveyed Biden's words on the Ukrainian TV channel.
According to Yermak, the presidents of Ukraine and France will meet with the new German Chancellor in Brussels next week.
