TSAMTO, December 9th. On December 8, one of the stages of state tests of the prototype 9P140MB combat vehicle was successfully completed at the Osipovichsky training ground as part of the OKR for the modernization of the Hurricane MLRS in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.
The prototype of the product based on the results of preliminary tests, which were completed in July of this year, was finalized at one of the enterprises of the State Military Industry and submitted to state tests.
At the stage of state tests, the product demonstrated stability during volley firing and the strength of all structures at the maximum angle of rotation of the package of guides. The protection of the combat vehicle from the gas jet is ensured.
At one of the subsequent stages of the state tests, it is planned to fire rockets for the first time in the landfill conditions of the Republic of Belarus when lifting the package of guides of the combat vehicle to the minimum permissible angle of elevation above the cabin.
The modernization of the product was carried out with the maximum possible use of modern equipment of Belarusian production (chassis, VHF communications equipment, navigation and guidance process automation) and the possibility of further modernization in terms of automation of combat use was provided.
