NEW YORK, December 9th. /tass/. The Electron rocket of the American company Rocket Lab with two Earth remote sensing satellites launched on Thursday from the Mahia Peninsula in New Zealand, the company said in a statement.
"The 11th and 12th satellites of the [American company] BlackSky low-orbit grouping will be deployed," Rocket Lab noted.
The rocket was launched at 13:02 (03:02 Moscow time).
On May 15, the launch of the Electron rocket ended in failure, the specialists could not then carry out the planned launch of two satellites into orbit.
Rocket Lab launched its first rocket in May 2017, but the attempt was also unsuccessful - the cargo was never delivered to orbit, but since then the company has managed to launch more than a hundred satellites into space.
