Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the rank of Colonel-General to Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces Andrei Yudin and Chief of Staff of the Central Military District Mikhail Teplinsky. The corresponding decree of the head of state is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
"To assign military ranks <...> to Colonel-General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Mikhail Yuryevich Teplinsky, Andrey Vyacheslavovich Yudin," the decree says.
Six more servicemen were awarded the rank of Lieutenant General, eleven - Major General. By the same decree, four military men were awarded the rank of rear admiral.
