PSB starts financing the construction of residential buildings for employees of defense industry enterprises
PSB launches a comprehensive program of financing the construction of residential facilities for the needs of defense industry enterprises and participants of the state defense order. Enterprises of the defense complex from any region of Russia will be able to receive an investment loan for the construction of residential buildings.
Real estate objects are planned to be built on the lands of the enterprises themselves or on specially acquired land plots, including with the financial support of the PSB. Employees of defense industry enterprises have the opportunity to buy apartments in such houses at discounted prices.
The implementation of a comprehensive financing program will allow defense industry enterprises to reduce the interest rate on an investment loan attracted for the construction of housing facilities. Employees of the industry enterprises, in turn, will be able to purchase housing without a down payment or use subsidies from the employer to pay a monthly payment. When buying such housing, it will also be provided for a reduction in the mortgage rate for customers who are served as part of a salary project developed by the PSB specifically for defense industry enterprises.
"Today, the creation of competitive working conditions and the attraction of highly qualified specialists is a priority issue for employers - enterprises of the country's military-industrial complex. PSB, as the backbone bank of the Russian defense industry, creates opportunities to solve this problem, including through the implementation of joint programs with employers that allow employees to purchase housing on preferential terms. Currently, the bank is working on the implementation of several pilot projects for the construction of residential facilities in different regions of Russia. The price of apartments in the framework of such projects is determined taking into account the full investment cost of construction in order to ensure break-even or the necessary level of profitability of the project for the enterprise - this allows us to offer employees of the defense industry company apartments at prices lower than the average level in the housing market. The investment financing program proposed by the bank is in many ways unique for the market and will be widely in demand in the industry," said Andrey Monakhov, Director of the Department of Complex Structured Investment Projects at PSB.
The PSB currently has reduced rates for the purchase of housing with a mortgage for wage clients – employees of defense industry enterprises: under the terms of the State Program 2020, when buying a new building, the rate for industry workers is from 5.85%, under the Family Mortgage program - from 4.39%, under the New Building program - from 8.95%, under the Secondary Housing program - from 9.14%.
