MOSCOW, December 3. /tass/. The idea of the Eurasian Space Agency is relevant and in demand by the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This was stated on Friday by a member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Sergey Glazyev at the EAEU business forum "Space Integration".
"The idea of the Eurasian Space Agency is really relevant and in demand," Glazyev said, commenting on the corresponding proposal of the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.
The EEC Minister added that, in his opinion, Roscosmos projects are of interest to all countries of the Union.
Earlier at the forum, Dmitry Rogozin proposed to seriously discuss the possibility of creating a Eurasian Space Agency. "I would like us to seriously discuss this topic, including today, regarding the creation of the Eurasian Space Agency," the head of Roscosmos said.
