MOSCOW, Dec 2 - RIA Novosti. Specialists of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation held classes with officers of the Serbian armed forces during their visit to Serbia, in particular, sharing their experience in fighting militants, according to the academy's website.
According to the Academy, the Russian delegation, having visited the cities of Belgrade, Nis and Pancevo, held classes for the leadership of the central military administration bodies, ground forces, officers of the special operations unit.
As noted by the commander of the Land forces of the Republic of Serbia, Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic, quoted by VAGSH, "it is especially important that officers with combat experience speak before us: many of our servicemen also have the experience of several wars and armed conflicts, this allows us to speak the same language."
"Following the visit, the parties expressed their intentions to expand the format of joint events and strengthen ties in the field of education and science," the VAGSH added.
