MOSCOW, Nov 30 - RIA Novosti. Declaring cyberspace and outer space "operational environments" of NATO undermines efforts to prevent the use of these areas for military purposes, according to a statement published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
"The declaration of cyberspace and outer space as "operational environments" of NATO, including within the meaning of Article 5 of the Washington Treaty, undermines international efforts to form legally binding mechanisms to prevent the use of these areas for military purposes," the report says.
