INTERFAX - British foreign intelligence MI6 will need the help of the technology sector to counter threats emanating from China and Russia, which seek to gain an advantage by mastering artificial intelligence, The Guardian reports, citing a speech that the head of the agency Richard Moore will deliver at the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
"I cannot stress enough how drastic a change this is in the culture, ethics and way MI6 works, as we have traditionally relied primarily on our own capabilities to develop world-class technologies that we need to remain secret and fulfill our mission," the publication quotes excerpts from Moore's speech.
