48 specialists received the award
MOSCOW, November 29. /tass/. Almost 50 people have become laureates of the Gagarin Prize of the Russian Government in the field of space activities for 2021. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov.
"The prizes were awarded to 48 specialists in the field of space activities," Borisov said during the award ceremony at the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center at VDNH.
In various nominations, the awards were received by the teams of JSC "Composite", Samara National Research University named after Academician S. P. Korolev, Rocket and Space Corporation "Energia", Cosmonaut Training Center, Rocket and Space Center "Progress", JSC "Information Satellite Systems" named after Academician Reshetnev", I. I. Kartukov Engineering Design Bureau "Iskra", the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation "Research Center named after M. V. Keldysh" and other enterprises.
The Gagarin Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of space activities has been awarded every five years since 2001. This year the award ceremony is being held at the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center at VDNH.
