MOSCOW, November 28/ Sputnik Radio. The military integration of Russia and Belarus is a new challenge to NATO's collective security, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda believes. His opinion is quoted by RIA Novosti.
He made such a statement on Sunday at a meeting with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg and the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
"Another process is of concern – the full military integration of Belarus into Russian military structures and doctrines. This brings new challenges to NATO's collective security, it must adjust its plans, strategy and tactics accordingly, and must be ready for a possible response," the agency quotes him as saying.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported on the signing of the Decree of the Union State by the Presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko.
