On Friday, on the sidelines of the VII scientific and practical conference "The system of interdepartmental information interaction in solving problems in the field of defense of the Russian Federation", the head of the Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu and the head of the Russian Historical Society Sergei Naryshkin signed an agreement on the exchange of information between the military department and RIO.
"Cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Russian Historical Society has proven its effectiveness and, importantly, has great prospects, which we expect to realize in the course of further work. To do this, Sergei Evgenievich and I have signed relevant agreements, which I propose to exchange now," Shoigu said at the ceremony.
He also presented awards for achievements in the organization of interdepartmental cooperation in the field of national defense. The honorary cup from the hands of Shoigu was received by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Oleg Syromolotov, Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency Veronika Skvortsova, First Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service Ruslan Davydov, Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev and Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev.
The medals of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation "For strengthening the military Community" were awarded to the Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Tsybulsky, the Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrey Travnikov, the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev and the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Ksenia Razuvaeva.
The medal "For Contribution to Strengthening the Defense of the Russian Federation" was awarded to Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, Alexey Tsydenov, Head of the Republic of Buryatia, Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, and Alexey Pesoshin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.
